Auditory Rehabilitation for School-Aged Children

This resource gives SLPs and clients an opportunity to have fun with therapy. It is an app for iPads that provides a game called “Auditory Workout”.

This article describes the psychosocial development of children who have a hearing loss. It is important to understand what children are dealing with at each stage of life. School aged children who have a hearing impairment, difficulty or difference may have to approach social situations differently than the parent may think. This article helps explain these issues to AR professionals and to parents.
